This document defines commonly used terms and definitions in the field of industrial design.
This document is applicable to the understanding of concepts and information exchange in the field of industrial design, as well as to scientific research, teaching and industrial applications.

3.Basic Terminology of Industrial Design
3.1
Industrial design
By creating or identifying needs, we can comprehensively enhance the value of products (3.7), services (3.9), and systems (3.11), as well as the user experience (3.14).
Activities that utilize interdisciplinary knowledge from engineering, economics, and the arts to coordinate the relationship between technology, business, industry, and innovation.
