1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements and test methods for the identification ability of RMB cash machines.
This document is applicable to cash machines with the function of authenticating RMB, including paper money identification machines and coin identification machines.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Banknote
Currency issued by the People's Bank of China in accordance with the law and printed and circulating on the basis of specific substrates.
3.2
Coin
Currency issued by the People's Bank of China, made on the basis of metal or other synthetic materials, and in circulation.
3.3
Counterfeit currency counterfeit
Is not issued by the People's Bank of China, imitating the appearance or physical and chemical characteristics of RMB, which is sufficient to misidentify the public and may perform currency functions
