1 Scope
This standard specifies the extraction requirements, extraction methods, and precautions for forensic science handwriting samples.

The terms and definitions defined in GA/T 1460.2-2017 apply to this document.
4 Extraction requirements
4.1 Authenticity
4.1.1 The sample handwriting should be authentic and reliable, and it must be written by the appraiser.
4.1.2 The sample handwriting should in principle extract the original.
4.1.3 Sources of sample handwriting should be clear.
4.2 Adequacy
4.2.1 The number of sample scripts should be sufficient to reflect the writing habits of the writer.
4.2.2 Sample handwriting should be extracted that reflects the changing rules of the writing habits of the writer.
4.3 Comparability
4.3.1 The extracted sample handwriting shall have the same word and radical head as the sample handwriting.
4.3.2 The sample handwriting extracted should be based on normal samples, supplemented by experimental samples.
