This standard replaces GA 138-1996 "fireman's ax."
This standard compared with GA 138-1996, the main changes are as follows.
--- Ax uses material from the "steel" to "metal material" (1996 version 4.1.1, this version 4.1.1);
--- Rally by the "15000N" subdivided into "12500N" and "20000N" two kinds (1996 version 4.7, this version 4.7);
--- Increased "resistance to salt spray corrosion of metallic materials" requirement (edition 4.10);
--- A reference to the standard version has been updated.

Fire ax
1 Scope
This standard specifies the fire ax product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage.
This standard applies to rescue fire rescue job by flat fire ax, fire sharp ax, ax does not apply to fire back.
