The standard Chapter 4, Section 5 and Section 7 is mandatory.
This standard replaces GA 13-1991 "hanging fire extinguishing equipment performance requirements and test methods."
This standard GA 13-1991 compared to major changes are as follows.

This standard specifies the hanging gas fire extinguishing device model preparation, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage

This standard applies to suspended heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea) gas fire extinguishing apparatus hanging hexafluoropropane (HFC-236fa) gas off
Ignition device, hanging Halon 1301 fire extinguishing devices. Other gas extinguishing agent can also refer to the use of the device.
This standard is not suspended for Halon 1211 fire extinguishing apparatus.
