Textiles grinding abrasion test method
1 Scope
This standard specifies the test method for the determination of fabric abrasion resistance using grinding method.
This standard applies to most fabrics, this standard does not apply to class plush, fleece and other fabrics suede testing.

Under the provisions of friction pressure, installed on a flat ground tester fixture inflatable sample with abrasive reciprocating plane friction, specimen holder
Its axis perpendicular to the horizontal can be freely rotated around, according to the number of friction specimen breakdown, determine fabric abrasion resistance.
4 Instruments and Materials
4.1 grinding tester shall meet the following requirements (shown schematically in Figure 1).
--- Grinding jig, jig inner diameter of 95mm ± 1mm, can be firmly held circular area of 100cm2 sample.
--- Reciprocating test rig, reciprocating speed 125 times/min ± 5 times/min, stroke of 25mm ± 2mm.
--- Rotating platform, mounted on reciprocating test bed for fixing grinding fixture. Test 100 times per station reciprocating, jig grinding

--- Having inflatable means capable of applying 28kPa inflation pressure on the sample.
--- Abrasive having gripping means can nip width 40mm, length not less than 200mm abrasive.
--- Having a number of friction display device.
--- Having a friction pressure weight pressure, friction and pressure applied by the weight of 450g ± 5g.
