Quantitative chemical analysis of textiles
Natural cellulose fibers with some regenerated cellulose fibers
The mixture (hydrochloric acid method)
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of the fiber content of the mixture of natural cellulose fibers and certain regenerated cellulose fibers by the hydrochloric acid method.
This standard applies to natural cellulosic fibers (such as cotton, linen, ramie, cannabis) and some regenerated cellulose fibers (such as viscose, modal,
Purcell, copper-ammonia fiber).
2 normative reference documents
The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated edition applies to this article
Pieces. For undated references, the latest edition (including all modifications) applies to this document.

3 principle
The regenerated cellulose fibers were dissolved and removed from a known dry mass mixture with a hydrochloric acid reagent, and the residue was collected, washed, dried and dried
The percentage of dry mass of the mixture is calculated from the corrected mass. The mass percentage of regenerated cellulose fibers is derived from the difference.
4 reagent
Use the reagents specified in GB/T 2910.1 and 4.1, 4.2 of this standard.
4.1 hydrochloric acid solution
Concentrated hydrochloric acid dissolved in water, adjust the solution density to 1.177g/mL ~ 1.179g/mL (25 ℃).
WARNING. The reagent is highly volatile and hazardous to the human body. It should be used in a fume hood and take a sound protective measure
Application Reagent should not be used for a long time.
4.2 dilute aqueous ammonia solution
20 mL of aqueous ammonia (density ρ = 0.880 g/mL) was diluted to 1 L with water.
5 equipment
Use the equipment specified in GB/T 2910.1 and the standards 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 and 5.4.
5.1 with a triangular flask, the capacity of not less than 500mL.
5.2 mechanical oscillator, can keep the temperature at 25 ℃ ± 2 ℃.
5.3 density meter, the density range of 1.100g/mL ~ 1.200g/mL.
