This Standard applies to remanufactured automotive components; it can be implemented for the remanufactured components of other power-driven vehicles by reference. 2 Normative references The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this document. For undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document. GB/T 16288-2008, Marking of plastics products GB/T 25978-2018, Road vehicle - Plates and label GB/T 26989, Automobile recovery - Terminology 3 Terms and definitions Terms and definitions determined by GB/T 26989 and the following ones are applicable to this document. 3.1 Remanufactured automotive components Products, of which the used automotive components are basically restored to the original product's technical performance and product quality after a series of remanufacturing processes. 3.2 Mark for remanufactured automotive components A pattern which is used to indicate that the automotive component is a remanufactured product. 3.3 Labels for remanufactured automotive components An information combination of marks, words, numbers, symbols and other descriptive contents, which is used to identify remanufactured automotive components. 4 Label requirements 4.1 Label composition The labels for remanufactured automotive components shall include at least the following: a) Mark for remanufactured automotive components as specified in 4.2; b) Chinese name of the product; c) Name or registered trademark of the remanufacturing company; d) Serial number of the remanufactured product; e) Production date of the remanufactured product; f) Specifications or model of the remanufactured product; g) Implementation quality standards of the remanufactured product; h) Instructions that the product can only be used for after-sales maintenance, and cannot be used for new product assembly. 4.2 Marking requirements 4.2.1 General requirements The mark for remanufactured automotive components shall be clear and easy to identify. 4.2.2 Marking format 4.2.2.1 The mark for remanufactured automotive components is shown in Figure 1. The mark is composed of two parts: a triangle recycling symbol and the letter symbol of RM (abbreviation of Remanufacture in English). The triangle recycling symbol shall meet the requirements in Table 1 of GB/T 16288-2008 for the graphic requirements of recycling. 4.2.2.2 The letter symbol "RM" shall be in the center of the triangle recycling symbol; the letters shall be in bold. ......
