Complete pet food - Dog food 1 Scope This Standard specifies terms and definitions, requirements, test method, inspection rules and label, packaging, transportation, storage, shelf life of complete pet food - dog food. This Standard applies to complete pet food - dog food with industrialized processing and fabrication, except prescription dog food. 2 Normative references The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated edition is applicable to this document. The latest version (including all amendments) of undated references is applicable to this document. If there is one unqualified item in inspection results of microbiological indicators, then this batch of products shall be judged as unqualified; re-inspection is not allowed. 7 Label There shall be labels attached on package, indicating product name, raw material components, guaranteed analytical value of product composition, net weight or net content, storage condition, instructions for use, precautions, date of manufacture, shelf life, name and address of manufacturing enterprise, license documentary number, and product quality standard number, etc. 8 Packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life 8.1 Packaging The package shall be sealed, moisture-proof, water-proof, and not easy to be damaged. The packing material shall be nontoxic and harmless. 8.2 Transportation Transportation facility shall be clean and dry; measures of rain-proof and anti-pollution shall be taken. It is forbidden to mixed-load and mixed-transport with the toxic and harmful articles. 8.3 Storage The products shall be stored in shady and cool, ventilated and dry place. Measures of water-proof, mildew-proof, rat-proof, anti-insect pest shall be taken. The products shall not be stored with toxic and harmful articles. 8.4 Shelf life Shelf life of products shall be determined according to product features; products within the shelf life shall be in accordance with the requirements of product quality standards. ......
