This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009 "Guidelines for Standardization Work_Part 1. Structure and Preparation of Standards"
This standard replaces JY 74-1982 "Technical Conditions for Dicotyledon Leaf Transect". In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
-Eliminate the "8 micron section thickness" that is difficult to inspect;
-Cancel the classification of the original qualified products into first-class products and second-class products.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the type designation, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, instructions, packaging,
Transportation and storage.
This standard applies to cross-slice specimens of dicotyledonous plant leaves for primary and secondary school teaching.

3 Model designation
3.1 Model Nomenclature
The composition and form of the product model follow the provisions of JY 0026-1991.
3.2 Model Nomenclature
Dicotyledonous leaf cross-section models are named.
SP-SZY-HQ-100
Product specifications are expressed by microscope magnification, 100 means 100 times magnification
The feature code adopts the slice direction in the production process, and is cross-cut into HQ
The pinyin prefix of the product name is SZY, SZY means dicotyledon plant leaves
The classification code of the product model is SP
Model example.
SP-SZY-HQ-100 means that the dicotyledon leaves need to be viewed with a microscope at 100 times or more.
4 Requirements
4.1 Slides and coverslips, appearance, specimen collection and processing, specimen staining, and specimen covers should comply with JY/T 0067-2011
Chapter 4.
4.2 Specimens should be taken from plant leaves with typical dicotyledonous structures.
4.3 A transverse section of the main vein has been made, with one slide of material per slide.
4.4 The upper and lower epidermis of the leaf, the cross-section of the stomata, the palisade tissue, the sponge tissue, and the leaf veins should be clearly visible.
4.5 The cells of the fence and sponge tissue should be able to see the nucleus and chloroplast clearly.
4.6 The xylem, phloem, formation, and mechanical tissue (thick-angled tissue) should be visible on the cross section of the main vein.
4.7 If end faces of lateral veins appear on both sides of the main vein, xylem and phloem should also be displayed.
4.8 The minor fissures in the main and lateral veins should not exceed two.
4.9 The specimen is stained with crocus and fast green, or other multiple staining methods. The nucleus of each part should be clear, and the ducts and other tissues should be clear.
The structure should be distinct.
5 Test method
5.1 According to the provisions of Chapter 5 of JY/T 0067-2011.
5.2 Sections 4.4, 4.8 and 4.9 of this standard shall be inspected at a microscope magnification of 40 times, and sections 4.5, 4.6 and 4.7 shall be magnified at the microscope
Inspection is performed at a multiple of 100 times.
