3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 24044-2008, GB/T 33859-2017, GB/T 37756 and the following apply to this document.
3.1
The water footprint caused by the use of water resources during the production of steel products.
Note. Indicators used to quantify potential water-related environmental impacts during the life cycle of steel products.
3.2
During the operation and supply chain processes of iron and steel enterprises, due to the input of water resources and the production, use, transportation and other processes of raw materials and products,
Raw water footprint.
3.3
Derived from the characterization model, it is used to convert the water footprint data inventory analysis results into factors affecting type parameters with the same unit.
