1 Scope
This standard specifies the method of precipitation resource small hydroelectric station catchment climate evaluation.
This standard applies to the installed capacity of 5MW ~ 50MW of small hydro power station catchment rainfall climatic resources evaluation.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Catchment catchmentarea
All the main catchment area tributaries upstream precipitation of small hydroelectric stations.
Note. generally the watershed boundary and other watershed boundary.
3.2
Area Rainfall arearainfal
The average annual precipitation on a certain area within a certain period of time.
3.3
Rainstorm rainstorm
24h rainfall of 50mm or more precipitation.
3.4
Precipitation Resources precipitationresource
The Department of total precipitation water area. Total precipitation for the catchment area rainfall multiplied by the catchment area.
Note. The calculation method, see the formula (1).
3.5
Precipitation guaranteed rate accumulatedfrequencyofprecipitation
Precipitation is greater than or equal to a threshold value of the cumulative frequency.
NOTE. indicates the reliability of greater than or equal to a boundary precipitation.
3.6
Wet years wetyear
