This standard applies to the quantification of the carbon footprint of lead ingot products produced from lead ore or lead-containing waste. This standard also applies to the quantification of the carbon footprint of preceding products of lead ingots. Common preceding products include: lead ore, lead concentrate, crude lead, pyrometallurgically refined lead, and lead alloy ingots produced from recycled lead smelting.
