1 Scope
This standard specifies the high waist circumference screening boundary point and waist circumference measurement requirements for children aged 7 to 18 years old.
This standard applies to the screening of high waist circumference in children and adolescents aged 7 to 18 years old in China.

3 Terms and definitions

Waist circumference; WC
The circumference of the lower edge of the rib arch of the midline and the midpoint of the midpoint of the squall line.
3.2
Percentile percentile
Sort a set of data from small to large and calculate the corresponding cumulative percentile. The data value corresponding to a certain percentile is 100 percent of this percentile.

4 Child and adolescent waistline points
The 75th percentile and the 90th percentile of the age and waist circumference of children and adolescents of different genders are used as the normal waist circumference of children and adolescents.
