1 Scope
This standard specifies the HPLC method for the determination of 2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone in food simulants.
This standard applies to water, 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution, 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution, 20% (volume fraction) ethanol solution,
Determination of 2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone content in water-based mimics of 50% (volume fraction) ethanol solution and six food simulants of olive oil.

3 Method summary
The 2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone in the food simulant was separated by high performance liquid chromatography and detected by a UV detector. water
The base food simulant was injected directly, and the olive oil simulant was extracted by methanol vortex extraction and quantified by external standard method.
4 reagents and materials
Unless otherwise stated, the reagents used were of analytical grade and the water was the third grade water specified in GB/T 6682.
4.1 2,4-Dihydroxybenzophenone (C13H10O3, CAS No.. 131-56-6). purity greater than 99.0% (mass fraction).
4.2 Glacial acetic acid.
4.3 Anhydrous ethanol.
4.4 Refined olive oil.
4.5 Methanol, chromatographically pure.
4.6 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution. Weigh 30g (accurate to 0.1g) glacial acetic acid (4.2) in a 1L volumetric flask and dilute to volume with water.
4.7 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution. Measure 100 mL of absolute ethanol (4.3) in a 1 L volumetric flask and dilute to volume with water.
4.8 20% (volume fraction) ethanol solution. Measure.200 mL of absolute ethanol (4.3) in a 1 L volumetric flask and dilute to volume with water.
4.9 50% (volume fraction) ethanol solution. Measure 500 mL of absolute ethanol (4.3) in a 1 L volumetric flask and dilute to volume with water.
