Foreword
SN/T 2138 "import and export of textile raw materials for the inspection of plant fiber" is divided into two parts.
--- Part 1. hemp;
--- Part 2. cotton.
This section SN/T 2138 Part 2.
This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
The partial replacement of SN/T 0775-2005 "inspection of import and export of cotton."
This section compared with the SN/T 0775-2005, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Remove the short fiber and neps rate terms and definitions (3.7 and 3.8);
--- Test length increased HVI test method (B2);
--- Micronaire test increases the HVI test method (C3);
--- Breaking strength test remove Pressley test method (D2), an increase of HVI test method (D2);
--- Remove the short fiber content test (6.6);
--- Remove the NEP test (6.7);
--- Modified when trade contract HVI indicators (9), according to SN/T 1512 and SN/T 2628 execution.
--- According to changes in the requirements of ISO 139 to adjust the tolerance test standard atmosphere;
--- According to changes GB/T 6975 requirements, packaging and identification requirements for cotton were adjusted.

1 Scope

3 Terms and Definitions
