This standard applies to the determination of industrial tert-butanol produced by isobutene hydration and isobutane co-oxidation processes. When using thermal conductivity detector (TCD) to measure TBA-85, the minimum determination content of its impurity is 0.01% (mass fraction), when using hydrogen flame ionization detector (FID) to measure TBA-85, TBA-95, TBA -99, the minimum assay content of impurities is 0.001% (mass fraction).
