Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard is proposed and managed by the National Sand Control and Sand Control Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC365).
This standard was drafted. Institute of Desertification, Chinese Academy of Forestry.

Desert ecosystem observation field and long-term fixed plot
Classification and coding
1 Scope
This standard specifies the desert ecosystem comprehensive observation field, meteorological observation field, sandstorm observation field, water observation field and auxiliary observation field, and
Classification and coding methods for long-term fixed plots such as microclimate, soil, hydrology, and biology, and information on observation fields and long-term fixed plots
Document filing technical requirements.
This standard is applicable to the construction of the observation field (sample) of the desert ecosystem positioning observation and research station and its information archive management.

3 Classification and coding of observation fields
3.1 Classification and coding principles
The principles of classification and coding are as follows.
a) The situation and case of each desert ecological station, various disciplines, various types of observation fields and long-term fixed sample sites should be comprehensively considered.
a conceptual definition and classification method;
b) should be based on the classification system, in the satisfaction of computer information representation and processing, manual memory is convenient, unique, simple, complete
On the basis of sex and certainty, a coding system is given to make each observation field and long-term fixed sample site uniquely determined.
Code.
3.2 Observing field classification
According to the content and tasks of the desert ecosystem positioning observation, the observation field can be divided into comprehensive observation field, meteorological observation field, sand-sand observation field, and water.
Five types of sub-fields and auxiliary fields.
a) Integrated observation field. observations for observing the long-term evolution of integrated elements of biological, soil, water and meteorological systems in desert ecosystems
site;
b) Meteorological Observatory. A site for ground meteorological element observation by installation of meteorological equipment at representative locations;
c) Sand-sand observation site. A site used to observe wind, sand, temperature, humidity, and pressure, which are closely related to wind-blown activities. In view
In the survey field, sandstorm movement, sandstorm, aeolian geomorphic dynamic observation area and sand control project can be divided according to the purpose of observation.
Wind and sand damage test area;
d) Moisture observation field. The site mainly based on the observation of the water balance in the process of vegetation succession, the observation content includes soil moisture,
Plant transpiration, canopy interception, ecosystem carbon flux, etc.
e) Auxiliary observation field. as a repetition and supplement to the integrated observation field.
