This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces LY/T 1323-2010 "lac insect rubber".
Compared with LY/T 1323-2010, the main changes are as follows.
--- Cancelled the Chinese lac insects in the "Scope" and "Terms and Definitions" chapters;
--- Added the definition of "glue thickness";
--- Cancel the harvesting period of the lac insects in the Xia and winter generations;
--- Adjusted the quality requirements of some indicators in Table 1;
--- Adjusted the text description in Chapter 4, "Sampling";
--- Revised and improved the calculation formula and description in Chapter 5;
---Adjusted the order of Chapter 6, and merged the suspended segments with 6.2.1 and 6.2.2 to divide the second rule and the review rules into two.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, quality requirements, sampling, inspection methods, acceptance rules, and signs, packaging, and temporary storage of lac insects.

This standard is applicable to the winter and summer varieties of the main domestic rubber-producing species, Yunnan lac insects.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Lac lacquer broodlac
The lac insect (Kerriayunnanensis) is parasitic on the host tree. After growth and development, it is harvested for stocking the next generation of purple.

3 Quality requirements
3.1 Appearance traits
The rubber should be fresh branches of live insects, the glue is contiguous, the diameter of the fresh branches is less than 30mm, the empty branches at both ends are not more than 50mm, and the pests and diseases are few.
3.2 Quality indicators
