This standard replaces LY/T 1206-1997 "chloroprene adhesive for woodworking".
The main technical changes of this standard compared with LY/T 1206-1997 are as follows.

--- Increased technical requirements for hazardous substance content.
--- Increased methods for determining harmful substances.
--- The index value of non-volatile content, tensile shear strength and initial adhesion strength in the original standard was modified. its non-volatile content was from
20% changed to 22%; its tensile shear strength changed from 1.56MPa to 2.2MPa; its initial bond strength was changed from 0.7MPa
1.2MPa.
