This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces LY/T 1601-2002 "Water-based polymer - isocyanate wood adhesive".
The main technical changes of this standard compared with LY/T 1601-2002 are as follows.
--- Increase the limit requirement and detection method of free formaldehyde content in the adhesive;
--- Increase the restrictions on the type of ingredients in the adhesive.
This standard is not equivalent to the Japanese Industrial Standard JIS K6806-2003 "Waterborne Polymer - Isocyanate Wood Adhesive".
This standard is proposed and managed by the National Standardization Technical Committee for Wood-based Panels (SAC/TC198).

3 Terms and definitions

A two-component adhesive consisting of a main component (component A) and a crosslinking agent (component B), dispersed in an aqueous solution of an polymer, an aqueous emulsion, and water.
The body or a mixture thereof constitutes a main component (component A), and the isocyanate compound as a main component constitutes a crosslinking agent (B)
