Foreword
This standard replaces LY/T 1085-1993 "Larch gum".
Compared with LY/T 1085-1993, the main changes of this standard are as follows.
--- Revised the regulations on the classification of technical indicators, and changed the special, first and second grades into superior products, first-class products and qualified products;
--- Removed the requirement for "non-tannin" in the technical requirements;
--- Adjusted the values of the "tannin" and "precipitation" indicators in the technical indicators;
--- Increased the content of inspection classification, inspection items, and group approval rules in the inspection rules;
--- Revised the rules for the determination rules and re-inspection rules in the inspection rules;
--- Modified the requirements for packaging, marking, storage and transportation.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, storage and transportation of larch gum.
Shaped silicone, mainly used in tanning and manufacturing woodworking adhesives.

3 Technical requirements
3.1 Appearance
Brownish yellow to brownish red powder.
3.2 Technical indicators
Larch rubber technical indicators should meet the requirements of Table 1.
