1 Scope

This standard specifies the principle, reagents, instruments, sample preparation, operation steps and results of spectrophotometric determination of oryzanol in vegetable oil. Representation and precision. This standard applies to the determination of oryzanol in rice bran oil. The detection limit of this standard method is 100mg/kg.

3 Principle

The absorbance of the sample was measured using a 10 mm cuvette at 315 nm UV wavelength to calculate the oryzanol content in the sample.
