3 Overview
The surface roughness comparison sample block (hereinafter referred to as the sample block) is a work gauge for checking the surface roughness of the workpiece.
(See Figures 1 and 2). The method of use is based on the surface roughness of the working face of the sample block, based on the touch (such as nails),
Vision (with the aid of a magnifying glass, comparative microscope) compared with the surface of the workpiece to determine the surface of the workpiece
Whether the roughness is satisfactory.
Figure 1 Directly processed samples
When comparing, the sample used and the method to be inspected should be the same, and the material and shape of the sample.
The shape, surface color, etc. should also be as consistent as possible with the part being inspected. The criterion for judging is based on the depth of the traces of the workpiece processing.
Determine if the surface roughness meets the drawing (or process) requirements. When the inspection marks of the inspected parts are not more than the sample
When the working surface is processed with a trace depth, the surface roughness of the tested part generally does not exceed the nominal value of the sample.
