This standard amends JG 3046-1998 "Cold Rolled and Twisted Bars".
5.2.3, 5.3, and 7.3.2 of this standard are mandatory provisions.
This revision of this standard has revised the following main technical contents.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels and packages of cold-rolled torsion bars.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
The low-carbon steel hot-rolled disc strip is straightened, cold-rolled and cold-twisted (or cold-rolled) by a special steel cold-rolling twisting machine.
Continuous spiral reinforcement of the corresponding pitch (see Figure 1).
