1 Scope
This standard specifies the purpose, content, process, method and technical requirements of the storm surge (including near-shore waves, the same below) and the on-site investigation of ocean wave disasters.
This standard applies to the on-site investigation of coastal storm surges and ocean wave disasters in my country.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Storm surge and wave disaster disaster-bearing body exposureofstormsurgeandwavedisaster
Subjects to withstand storm surges and waves.
Note. Including coastal population, houses, embankments, crops and other vegetation, breeding areas, ships, ports and other engineering facilities.
3.2
Floodplain stormsurgeinundation
The phenomenon of storm surge flooding the land above the coastline.
3.3
Floodplain rangeofstormsurgeinundation
During a storm surge, the maximum extent of the land above the coastline was flooded by the tide water.
3.4
Mandy overdyketop
The phenomenon that the rising water along the coast caused the storm surge process to cross the top of the seawall.
3.5
Dykebroken
The storm surge process caused the collapse of some or all embankments.
3.6
Storm surge flood marks marksofstormsurgeflood
The coastal swell caused by the storm surge process caused the footprints formed by coastal features soaked in seawater.
3.7
Depth of stormsurge
