- Added unidentified control indicators and limit values for VOC and fine particulate matter;
- Adjusted product energy efficiency index.
This standard is formulated by the Ministry of Environmental Protection Science and Technology Standards Division.
This standard is mainly drafted by. Environmental Protection Department of Environmental Development Center, the State Office Equipment and Supplies Quality Supervision and Inspection Center.
This standard MEP approved on December 11,
This standard since March 1,.2018 into effect.
This standard is interpreted by the MEP.
This standard replaces the standards previously issued as follows.

D.2.2 The test using the standard configuration of the product, non-standard configuration does not participate in the test.
D.3 Test conditions
D.3.1 Test Chamber Regulations
Test chamber should meet the following conditions.
a) Temperature. 23 ℃ ± 2 ℃;
b) Relative humidity Note D1. 50% ± 5%;
c) air exchange rate. Chamber volume ≤ 5m3. (1 ≤ n ≤ 5) ± 5%;
Chamber volume > 5m3. (1 ≤ n ≤ 2) ± 5%;
Note D1. If necessary, in order to prevent the equipment from printing due to moisture emitted from the paper leading to increased air humidity and affect the test results in the preparation phase
After the end, if the chamber volume > 5m3, the air exchange rate can be adjusted to n = 1-2h-1; if the chamber volume ≤ 5m3, the air exchange rate can be adjusted to
n = 1-5h-1, if necessary, the relative humidity can be reduced to below 10%, the air flow becomes dry, in order to maintain the print phase chamber air humidity below the critical
Value (≤85%).
d) Chamber flow rate. 0.1 m/s ~ 0.3 m/s;
e) Volume of test sample to chamber volume Note D2. 0.0025 < VEUT/VK < 0.25
VEUT. Test sample volume
VK. Chamber volume
Note D2. If VEUT/VE < 0.01, the test chamber air flow volume ≤ 5m3/h.
f) Chamber blank value
When the air exchange rate n = 1 times/h when the blank value should meet the following requirements.
Individual substance < 2μg/m3
TVOC < 20μg/m3
D.3.2 Test equipment
a) Gas Chromatograph (GC) or Gas Chromatograph (GCMS);
b) thermal desorption device;
c) Atmospheric sampler;
d) Spectrophotometer;
e) Power meter;
f) Adsorbent. Tenax GC or Tenax TA.
D.3.3 test version of the test
a) Monochrome products use the monochrome test version of ISO /IEC 28360;
b) color products using ISO /IEC 28360 color test version.
D.3.4 test paper
Use A4 format 70g/m2, moisture content 3.8% ~ 5.6% ordinary copy paper.

b) The work status of the product should be set to print status, the product without print function set to copy status.
D.3.6 Product and consumable material placement
The product and its consumable materials should be placed in a test chamber one day before the test.
D.4 Test Procedure Description
D.4.1 chamber blank value sample Note D3
a) Connect the sampling tube with the air sampler, and the sampler sets the flow rate to 0.1 ~ 0.2L/min; immediately after the sampling,
Tube sealed at both ends.
b) The chamber air exchange rate is set to n = 1h-1; samples are taken for 60 min.
Note D3. Use a flowmeter to calibrate the air sampler before and after sampling and record the flow rate error should be less than 5%.
D.4.2 Preparation phase (standby) Sampling Note D4
a) Connect the sampling tube with the air sampler to set the flow rate of the sampler to 0.1 L/min ~ 0.2 L/min;
b) Chamber air exchange rate is set to n = 1 time/h;
c) Turn on the product power switch, 20min sampling after 40min. Immediately after sampling, both ends of the sampling tube are sealed.
Note D4. Before and after sampling, calibrate the flow of air sampler with a flowmeter and record that the flow error should be less than 5%.

a) Change the sampling tube and connect with the atmospheric sampler, the sampler sets the flow rate unchanged;
b) the air exchange rate is set to n = 1 ~ 5h-1 (volume ≤ 5m3) or n = 1-2h-1 (volume > 5m3);
c) According to the product category using the provisions of the test version of the original for printing, should work continuously for 10min Note D5, note D6 above;
Note D5. For equipment that does not complete at least 5 minutes of print time and does not have a large capacity output tray for design reasons, the test should be done in duplex mode (double
Surface printing), the device under test should be the default setting (standard print quality).
Note D6. During the test, the power meter should be used to monitor the operating status of the product.
d) continue sampling until the air exchange is completed. After sampling, immediately sealed at both ends of the sampling tube;
