This standard replaces GB/T 9977-1988 "terms of coking products."
This standard and GB/T 9977-1988 compared to the main changes are as follows.
--- Added "About" section;
--- Modifications and adaptations of the standard general structure and formatting;
--- Increase in some of the new terms, such as. ferroalloy coke, needle coke and other;
--- Revised some definitions of terms, so that the definition of a more complete, accurate;
--- We made the necessary modifications to some of the terms of symbols to represent the symbol timely and effective;
--- On the part of the English translation of the term has been modified so that the modified term English name is more accurate.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the coking products, sampling and sample preparation and test methods and other terms, the English translation, definitions and symbols.
This standard applies to the relevant standards, documents, materials, books and manuals.
