Natural stone test method
Part 11.Determination of accelerated aging strength by chilling and heating
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 9966 specifies the principle, equipment, sample preparation, and test of natural stone resistance to chilling and heat accelerated aging test
Procedures, test results and test reports.
This section applies to the determination of natural stone that may change under intense temperature changes (thermal shock) conditions.

3 Principle
After the sample is dried to constant weight at (105±5)℃, it is subjected to periodic cyclic treatment in turn, that is, at (105±5)℃
Immediately after drying, immerse it in (20±5)℃ water, repeat 20 times before and after.
4 Equipment
4.1 Blast drying oven. can maintain the temperature at (105 ± 5) ℃.
4.2 Flat-bottomed container with lid. There is a sample holder that has no oxidation and no adsorption to the sample.
4.3 Balance. can be accurate to 0.01% of the weighed mass.
4.4 A set of measuring equipment for dynamic elastic modulus.
4.5 Desiccator. a sealed container that can hold at least one set of samples with a built-in desiccant.
5 Sample preparation
5.1 Number of samples
At least 7 samples should be prepared from the same batch of test samples. Observe each sample and pay attention to all changes, such as cracks, holes, etc. Sample
The working surface should be consistent with the surface actually used. When there is an anisotropic surface, the direction should be clearly marked with two parallel lines on the sample.
5.2 Specimen size
The size of the sample is.200mm×200mm×20mm, and the deviation is ±2.0mm. If the change of the sample has an impact on the performance, you can
To choose other sizes, and specify.
At least one side of the sample should be smooth. If polishing is not possible, at least one side of the sample should be smooth and flat by conventional treatment. its
