Foreword
This revised standard adopts ISO 749. 1977 "in oilseed residues - Determination of total ash" (in English).
This standard and ISO 749. 1977 main technical differences are as follows.
--- Increase in Chapter 5 of the reagent requirements;
--- Modify the requirements in a muffle furnace at 6.5;
--- 7.1.2 The total ash content is calculated on a dry basis with two timing were integrated.
For ease of use, this standard made the following editorial changes.

This standard specifies the oilseed (except composite product) in total ash content determination principle, reagents, instruments and appliances, analysis steps
And the result of the calculation.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
The sample under the operating conditions, after 550 ℃ ± 15 ℃ ashing residue obtained.
Principle 4
Sample at 550 ℃ ± 15 ℃ temperature conditions ashing completely weighed mass of the residue, calculate the mass fraction of the sample.
5 Reagents
The water should be consistent with GB/T 6682 in the three water requirements.
