Foreword
This revised standard adopts ISO 749. 1977 "in oilseed residues - Determination of total ash" (in English).
This standard and ISO 749. 1977 main technical differences are as follows.
--- Increase in Chapter 5 of the reagent requirements;
--- Modify the requirements in a muffle furnace at 6.5;
--- 7.1.2 The total ash content is calculated on a dry basis with two timing were integrated.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
