1 Scope
GB/T 9695 provisions of this part of the determination of meat and meat cholesterol content.
This section applies to the determination of cholesterol content of meat and meat products.

GB/T 6682-2008 analytical laboratory use specifications and test methods (ISO 3696. 1987, MOD)
Principle 3
After the meat and meat by saponification of lipids, cholesterol as unsaponifiables are extracted, measured by gas chromatography and quantified by external standard.
4 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise specified, the reagents were of analytical grade.
4.1 Water. Water line with two GB/T 6682-2008 requirements.
4.2 ether.
4.3 chloroform.
4.4 ethanol.
4.5 over anhydrous sodium sulfate.
4.6 potassium hydroxide solution (Ba = 1mol/L). Weigh 5.6g of potassium hydroxide, dissolved in water and diluted with water to 100mL.
4.7 Cholesterol Standard. Purity ≥95%.
4.8 cholesterol standard stock solution (Ba = 1.0mg/mL). Weigh cholesterol standard (4.7) 0.1000g, set 100mL flask,
Chloroform was dissolved and set the volume.
4.9 cholesterol standard working solution. When you use the cholesterol standard stock solution (4.8) was diluted with ethanol (4.4) to the desired concentration.
5. Apparatus
Conventional laboratory equipment and the following instruments.
5.1 Mechanical Equipment. For homogenization of the sample. Including high-speed rotation of the cutter, or no more than 4mm diameter of the orifice of the meat grinder.
5.2 Gas chromatograph. with capillary column and FID detector.
5.3 Electronic balance. weighing accurately to 0.1mg.
