Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1:1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"
Drafting:
This document replaces GB/T 8586-2007 "Operating Frequency Allocation of Fish Finders and Technical Conditions for Preventing Sound Wave Interference" and is consistent with
Compared with GB/T 8586-2007, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) Some terminology entries have been changed (see 3:1, 3:2, 3:3, 3:4, 3:5, 2:1, 2:2, 2:3, 2:4, 2:5 of the:2007 edition), and "vocabulary" has been added:
Definition of "axis" (see 3:6);
b) The value range of the emitted sound pulse width has been changed (see Chapter 6, Chapter 5 of the:2007 edition);
c) Changed the transmit power attenuation value range (see Chapter 7, Chapter 6 of the:2007 edition);
d) Added test methods for required clauses (see Chapter 9):

Fish finder operating frequency allocation and prevention of sound wave interference
specifications
1 Scope
This document specifies the operating frequency allocation of fish finders and their operating frequencies to prevent acoustic interference, the frequency response of the receiving system, and the emission of acoustic pulses:
Technical requirements for width, transmit power attenuation, and transducer directivity, and the corresponding inspection methods are described:
This document applies to the design, manufacture and inspection of fish finders for fishing operations:

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document:
3:1
The operating frequency given in the fish finder technical specifications or instruction manual:
3:2
When the frequency changes, the amplitude of the system output signal changes with the frequency curve:
3:3
passbandwidth passbandwidth
On the frequency response curve, the corresponding frequency range is when the gain drops by 3dB relative to the maximum response value:
3:4
rectangular factorrectangularfactor
On the frequency response curve, the ratio of the difference between the upper and lower frequency limits when the gain decreases by r relative to the maximum response value and the passband width (3:3):
Note: Commonly used values of r are 20, 40, and 60, and the unit is dB:
