Centre pivot and moving lateral types irrigation machines 1 Scope This Part of GB 10395 specifies the safety requirements and their verification for the design and manufacture of center pivot and moving lateral types irrigation machines that are electrically powered. It also specifies that the manufacturer shall provide safety operation information. NOTE Figures 1 to 5 give illustrations of these machines. This Part applies primarily to centre pivot and moving lateral types irrigation machines. Hazards due to the use of the pump associated with center pivot and moving lateral types irrigation machines (Hereafter referred to as irrigation machines) are not dealt with. Hazards induced by the use of these machines for pesticide products and liquid fertilizer application are also not dealt with. Environmental aspects have not been considered in this Part. 2 Normative references The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this Part through reference in this Part of GB 10395.
