Part 5. Determination of thickness
1 Scope
GB/T 4893 provisions of this part of the test method for wood furniture surface film thickness.
This section applies to the determination of the thickness of the wooden furniture in the surface of the film.
Principle 2
Determination of film thickness based on ultrasonic pulse reflection principle.
3 Instrument
Ultrasonic coating thickness gauge for measuring film thickness of the wood substrate surface. Accuracy is not less than 1μm, the maximum measured value is not less than

4 Sample Requirements
4.1 Sample size 250mm × 200mm. After finishing the sample shall not be less than 15 ℃ temperature environment placed ventilation after 7d

5 Test conditions and procedures
5.1 Pretreatment
Before the test, the sample should be at a temperature of 20 ℃ ± 2 ℃, relative humidity of 60% to 70% for pre-processing 24h.
