Cut at least 6 parallel cuts on the paint film on the furniture surface, and cut another equal number of cuts perpendicular to the first cut:

5:1:1 General requirements
Cutting tools should be rigid knives that comply with regulations: Suitable tools are specified in 5:1:2 and 5:1:3 and are shown in Figures 1 and 2:
Single-edged cutting tools (see 5:1:2) and multi-edged cutting tools (see 5:1:3) are suitable for all paint films and substrates; all cuts should be ensured
