This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 4796-2008 "Environmental classification of electrical and electronic products Part 1. Environmental parameters and the severity." This standard compared with GB/T 4796-2008, the main changes are as follows. --- The standard name changed to "environmental conditions classification of environmental parameters and the severity of"; --- Adjust the format and content of Form 1 --- Increase the information appendix NA "Metal and polymer materials, environmental corrosion and aging severity grading"; --- Increase the information appendix NB "According to the standard sample changes in the measured value of the severity of grading"; --- Increase the reference. This standard uses the translation method identical with IEC 60721-1..2002 "Environmental conditions - Part 1. Environmental parameters and classification." This standard made the following editorial changes. --- Modify the standard name; --- Added information appendix NA "metal and polymer materials, environmental corrosion and aging severity grading"; --- Increasing the informative appendix NB "according to the standard sample changes in the characteristics of the severity of grading." 3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Environmental conditions environmentalcondition The external physical, chemical and biological conditions that the product is exposed to at a given time. Note. Environmental conditions generally include the natural environment and the product itself or the external environmental conditions. 3.2 Environmental factor environmentalfactor A physical, chemical or biological influence (such as heat and vibration) of an environmental condition alone or in combination. 3.3 Environmental parameters environmentalparameter Describe one or more physical, chemical or biological characteristics of the environmental factor (eg temperature, acceleration). For example.
