There are no terms or definitions that require definition in this document.
4 Principles of the Method
Hexachlorobenzene in pyrotechnic powder samples was extracted with n-hexane, ethanol or n-heptane, cleaned with concentrated sulfuric acid, and then detected by hydrogen flame ionization.
The samples were separated and determined by gas chromatograph with FID, and the qualitative determination was based on retention time and the quantitative determination was based on external standard method.
5 Reagents and Materials
Unless otherwise specified, only analytical grade reagents were used.
Laboratories should develop safety procedures for handling flammable and explosive substances, strong acids, and toxic substances. Operators should wear appropriate protective gear.
Prepare and follow appropriate safety rules and take safety measures in response to unexpected events or emergencies.
5.1 Hexachlorobenzene standard. molecular formula. C6Cl6, CAS. 118-74-1, purity. 99.5%.
5.2 Concentrated sulfuric acid. 98% (mass fraction).
5.3 Extraction solvent. chromatographically pure (such as n-hexane, n-heptane or preferably ethanol).
5.4 Standard stock solution. Accurately weigh an appropriate amount of hexachlorobenzene standard (5.1) (accurate to 0.1 mg) and prepare a
The stock solution of 100 μg/mL was stored at 0℃~4℃ in the dark.
