1 Scope

This document specifies the classification and achievement requirements of athletic ability for students in track and field courses, and describes the evaluation methods for each level. This document is applicable to the assessment of track and field athletic ability of students in primary school, junior high school, high school and university.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 The comprehensive performance formed by students in track and field learning, training and competition activities, using the three types of track and field sports events of running, jumping and throwing to complete specific tasks. 3.2 hurdle A short-distance track event in which the athlete runs quickly across a certain number of hurdles of varying heights. 3.3 high jump A field event in which the human body uses the horizontal and vertical speeds generated by the running-up and jumping to make the body fly over a horizontal bar of a certain height. 3.4 long jump After the human body has gained a large horizontal speed through a certain distance of running-up, it uses a quick jump to generate vertical speed, so that the human body can jump into the air.
