1 Scope
This document describes a high-performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of triclosan and triclocarban content in finger paints.

3 Terms and Definitions

4 Principles
Methanol was used as the extraction solvent, ultrasonically extracted for 10 min, centrifuged, the supernatant was taken out, the residue was extracted again, and the two extractions were combined.
After filtration, high performance liquid chromatography was used for separation, diode array detector detection, and external standard method for quantification.
5 Reagents and Materials
The following reagents, unless otherwise specified, use only chromatographically pure reagents and above. The laboratory water meets the first-class water specified in GB/T 6682

5.1 Methanol.
5.2 Triclosan (CAS number. 3380-34-5) and triclocarban (CAS number. 101-20-2) standard products. the purity is not less than 99%.
5.3 Triclosan standard stock solution. Weigh an appropriate amount of triclosan (accurate to 0.1 mg) standard substance, and prepare it with methanol (5.1) to a mass concentration of
1000mg/L standard stock solution, placed in -18 ℃ refrigerator, valid for 6 months.
5.4 Standard stock solution of triclocarban. Weigh an appropriate amount of triclocarban (accurate to 0.1 mg) standard substance, and prepare the mass concentration with methanol (5.1).
It is a standard stock solution of 1000 mg/L, placed in a -18 ℃ refrigerator, and the validity period is 6 months.
5.5 Triclosan standard working solution. Dilute the triclosan standard stock solution (5.3) stepwise with methanol (5.1) to prepare a set of standard working solutions.
