1 Scope
This document describes the gas chromatography/mass spectrometry method for the determination of six phthalate plasticizers in furniture products and their materials.
The test of diformate plasticizer can also be carried out with reference to this document after verification.
This document is applicable to the determination of 6 phthalate plasticizers in furniture products and their materials.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Phthalates
The general term for esters formed by the reaction of phthalic acid and alcohol. Its chemical structure is characterized by two symmetrical or asymmetric methyl esters at the ortho position of the benzene ring.

Use methylene chloride to extract the phthalates in the sample in a Soxhlet extractor or ultrasonic generator, and extract

The test water should conform to the third grade water specified in GB/T 6682.
5.1 Dichloromethane
Analytical or chromatographically pure.
