1 Scope
This document specifies the overall requirements, functional configuration and setting calculations for flexible AC transmission equipment and related relay protection of the connected grid.
This document applies to series capacitor compensation devices, unified power flow controllers, and fault current limits in 220kV and above power grids
Controllers, controllable shunt reactors in power grids with voltages of 500kV and above, and dynamic reactive power compensation in power grids with voltages of 35kV and above
Common flexible AC power transmission equipment such as compensation devices.
