1 Scope
This document specifies the general ultrasonic testing of large-diameter round rod water immersion zone focusing (multiple single-element focusing probes or ultrasonic phased array probes).
Requirements, testing procedures and acceptance, etc.
This document is applicable to special metal round bars (titanium alloys) with a diameter of not less than 100mm and prepared by forging, extrusion, rolling and other forming processes.
