Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard uses the redrafting law to amend and adopt ISO 23551-5.2014 "Gas burner and gas appliance safety and control device characteristics Special Requirements Part 5.Manual Gas Valve. Compared with ISO 23551-5.2014, this standard has many structural adjustments. Appendix A lists this standard and ISO 23551-5. The.2014 chapter number comparison list. 1 Scope

This standard specifies manual gas valves for burners and combustion appliances that use urban gas specified in GB/T 13611 (hereinafter referred to as "valves") Classification and grouping, structure and materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, installation and operation instructions, packaging, transportation and storage. This standard applies to the maximum inlet pressure not greater than 500kPa and the nominal size not greater than DN50, which is used for gas stoves, integrated stoves, and gas grills. Boxes, gas burners/machines, gas heating stoves, gas heaters, gas ovens and other gas burning appliances or valves on burning equipment. This standard does not apply to manual gas needle valves.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 30597 apply to this document. 3.1 Manual gas valve It is a manually operated valve that controls the opening and closing of the gas or the gas flow adjustment function. Note. See Appendix D for the schematic diagram. 3.2 Manual gas cock The valve stem drives the cone plug to rotate around the axis of the valve stem, and the cone plug is used to control the opening and closing of the gas or the valve with the function of gas flow adjustment. Note. For schematic diagram, see Figure D.1~Figure D.3. 3.3 Manual gas ball valve The valve stem drives the ball to rotate around the axis of the valve stem, and the ball is used to control the opening and closing of the gas or the valve with the function of gas flow adjustment. Note. See Figure D.4 for the schematic diagram. 3.4 Seal length The shortest distance between the gas conveying component and the atmosphere measured along the sealing surface.
