1 Scope
This part of GB/T 37270 specifies the method of point, line and surface symbol exchange format in the vector map of marine basic geographic elements.

3 General regulations
3.1 format
Compliant format exchange uses extensible markup language (XML) to describe vector map symbols

3.2 Rules
The symbol format exchange rules are shown in Table 1.

The main structure of the exchange format is shown in Figure 1, including root elements, symbol sets, symbols, dot symbols, line symbols, and polygon symbols.
