1 Scope
This standard specifies the content and requirements for energy conservation assessment of alumina projects.
This standard is applicable to the energy conservation assessment of new or modified or expanded bauxite production metallurgical grade alumina projects, and other alumina technical transformation projects.

4 Energy conservation assessment content and requirements
4.1 Preparation
4.1.1 Determining the scope of assessment
The scope of energy conservation assessment should be consistent with the scope of investment construction, and should reflect the integrity of the project, covering energy purchase storage, processing conversion, and transportation.
The entire process of distribution and terminal use.
When the project relies on the construction of existing facilities, the relevant energy use of existing facilities should also be included in the scope of assessment.
