1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, model, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, product marks, and other specifications of silver-plated copper-clad steel wires for electronic products.

3 Classification and model
3.1 Classification
Silver-plated copper-clad steel wires are classified into four categories according to their relative conductivity and soft and hard state.
30A---soft silver-plated copper clad steel wire with a relative conductivity of 30% IACS;
30H---hard silver-plated copper clad steel wire with relative conductivity of 30% IACS;
40A---soft silver-plated copper clad steel wire with a relative conductivity of 40% IACS;
40H---hard silver-plated copper clad steel wire with a relative conductivity of 40% IACS.
Note. IACS refers to the resistivity of the international standard annealed pure copper wire, and the resistivity value is 5.8001×107S/m.
3.2 Plating level
The silver-plated copper-clad steel wire is divided into 5 grades according to the silver content (weight ratio).
A---silver-plated copper clad steel wire with a silver content of 1.25%;
B---silver-plated copper clad steel wire with a silver content of 2.50%;
C---silver-plated copper clad steel wire with a silver content of 4.00%;
D---silver-plated copper-clad steel wire with a silver content of 6.10%;
E---Silver-plated copper-clad steel wire with a silver content of 8.00%.
