1 Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the fluidity of glass chopped strands (hereinafter referred to as chopped strands). This standard is applicable to glass chopped strands with a length of 3.0mm~4.5mm. Other types of reinforcing fibers, such as carbon fiber, are also available. Refer to use.

3 Principle

Pour a certain amount of chopped strand into a standard discharge bin and measure the time it takes out of the discharge bin to pass through the chopped pass per second. The quality of the silk is used to judge its fluidity. The larger the value, the better the fluidity, and the worse the fluidity.
