Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 3608-2008 "Classification of Operations at Heights". Compared with GB/T 3608-2008, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes. Aside from the modifications, the main technical changes are as follows. ---Wind speed has been removed from the objective hazard factors [see 4.2a) in the.2008 edition]; ---The reference standard for high-temperature operations in the objective hazard factors has been revised [see 4.2b,.2008 version 4.2b)]; ---The requirements for low-temperature working environments in the objective hazard factors have been revised [see 4.2c,.2008 edition of 4.2c]; ---Specific indicators for insufficient lighting and poor visibility in the workplace have been added to the list of objective hazard factors [see 4.2f)]; ---The voltage ratings of hazardous voltage charged bodies in Table 1 have been changed [see 4.2g,.2008 edition of 4.2g]; ---The reference standard for the level of physical labor intensity in objective risk factors has been revised [see 4.2i,.2008 edition of 4.2i]; ---The phrase "work environments that may cause various disasters and accidents, and rescue operations for various sudden disasters and accidents" has been removed [see.2008]. 1 Scope

This document defines the terminology for working at heights, specifies the classification of working at heights, and describes the method for determining the height of working at heights. This document applies to all types of work at height.

3 Terms and Definitions
