Determination of polysaccharides and lignin content
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the content of polysaccharides and lignin in forestry biomass raw materials.
This standard applies to the quantitative analysis of polysaccharides and lignin in plant materials such as wood, bamboo, rattan, and crop straw.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1
Forestry biomass forestrybiomass
The natural organic matter produced by plant life activities such as photosynthesis, which consists of three main polymers. cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin.
It is composed of starch, pectin, protein, extractives and other various components, mainly in various forms of wood, bamboo, rattan, straw, fruit shells, etc.
The existence of the formula is a renewable natural plant fiber resource.
2.2
Polysaccharides structuralpolysaccharides
The collective name for all the cellulose and hemicellulose retained after the plant fiber material removes the cell cavity contents and cell wall lignin, also known as
Holocellulose.
3 Preparation of Forestry Biomass Powder Samples
3.1 Classification of Forestry Biomass Raw Materials
Sample raw materials are divided into three categories according to their source and form. wood, non-wood raw materials, and other forestry biomass raw materials.
Should be no less than.200g.
3.2 Wood raw materials
3.2.1 Collect wood from the same production area and the same tree species, and indicate the species, age, place of production, and year of harvest of the wood.
3.2.2 Take 2 to 3 pieces of discs with a thickness of about 6mm in the upper, middle, and lower parts of the wood material taken, or select a diameter that is not
More than 6mm twigs.
3.2.3 After placing the intercepted material in a dry and ventilated place for several days, cut it into small thin wood pieces, and evenly mix the selected materials and collect them according to the quarter method.
About 1000 g of uniform flake sample.
3.2.4 The resulting material is placed in an oven at 105°C ± 2°C to be dried for comminution, and the material is crushed by a pulverizer until all passes through 40 mesh.
Sieve to give a powder sample.
3.2.5 Take a suitable amount of powder sample in a constant weight container and dry it in an oven at 105°C±2°C until the weight difference between adjacent two weighings is small.
At 0.2% (the time difference should not be less than 1h), dry powder samples should be obtained, sealed and stored in a desiccator for use.
3.3 Non-wood raw materials
3.3.1 Collect bamboo, straw, straw, hemp and other raw materials 500g, and record in detail the type, origin, year, month and year of storage.
