Introduction
With its unique structure and a variety of attachments that it can be equipped with, off-road forklifts are capable of working on many different types of vehicles:
The application is extremely wide, and foreign countries already have a complete technical standard system for off-road forklifts: At present, some domestic manufacturers have entered this
field: The international high-end market has strict access requirements: In order to break the technical barriers to trade, we have accelerated the transfer of international standards for off-road forklifts:
In order to make our country's off-road forklift safety requirements and verification methods in line with international standards as soon as possible:
GB/T 35205 "Safety Requirements and Verification of Off-Road Forklifts" aims to establish safety requirements and verification methods for off-road forklifts: GB/T 35205
The following sections are proposed for publication:
--- Part 1: Telehandlers: The purpose is to specify the safety requirements and verification of telescopic forklifts:
--- Part 2: Rotary forklift: The purpose is to specify the safety requirements and verification of rotary forklifts:
--- Part 3: Truck-mounted forklifts: The purpose is to specify the safety requirements and verification of truck-mounted forklifts:
--- Part 4: Additional requirements for lifting and transporting freely swingable load telescopic forklifts: The purpose is to stipulate that the lifting can swing freely
Safety requirements and verification of additional requirements for load telescopic forklifts:
--- Part 5: Connecting devices for telescopic forklifts and integrated personnel work platforms: The purpose is to specify that telehandlers and
Safety requirements and verification of connection devices between integrated personnel working platforms:
--- Part 6: Inclined cab: The purpose is to provide for the installation of tilting cabs on telehandlers and slewing forklifts
security requirements and verification:
--- Part 7: Longitudinal load moment system: The purpose is to specify the design,
Security requirements and verification:
See ISO 20297-1 for safety requirements and verification of truck-mounted forklifts:
Safety requirements and verification of off-road forklifts
Part 2: Swivel forklifts
1 Scope
This document specifies the general safety requirements for off-road type rotary telescopic forklifts (hereinafter referred to as "forklifts"): This type of forklift consists of a lower chassis
It is composed of the upper slewing structure, and the upper slewing structure is equipped with a telescopic arm lifting device (articulated arm), which is usually equipped with a pick-up device (such as cargo
fork and fork): Forks and other integral attachments are considered part of the forklift:
In addition to the relevant clauses of this document, other parts of this document also apply to these attachments:
This document does not apply to the following:
a) Off-road type telescopic forklift (non-rotating), see ISO 10896-1;
b) For industrial telehandlers, see ISO 3691-2;
c) mobile cranes;
d) machinery designed primarily for earthmoving operations (e:g: loaders), even if their buckets are replaced by forks (see ISO 20474);
e) Designed to be mainly carried by variable-length lifting suspension components (such as chains, wire ropes), and the load can swing freely in all directions
vehicle;
Note: For vehicles with loads that can swing freely in all directions, the additional requirements for vehicle lifting devices and attachments, manned/working platforms shall be determined by
ISO /TC110/SC4 is under development:
f) Vehicles designed primarily for handling containers:
The significant hazards covered by this document are listed in Appendix A: This document does not address the hazards that may occur in the following situations:
--- During the manufacturing process;
--- When handling suspended loads that can swing freely;
--- When lifting personnel;
--- When used on the road;
--- When used in potentially explosive atmospheres;
---Battery, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) or hybrid power as the main power source:
